Tiger Blue fabric

Tiger Blue fabric

This fabric came about because I was suddenly told that The English Home magazine was going to do a house feature in the summer of 2018. I have 3 large curved windows in my kitchen and I did have some lovely Shumacher fabric curtains. I knew this was a good opportunity and wanted to make sure as many of my fabrics featured in the article, This meant these curtains had to go but I had to replace them with something as good as Shumacher, this is a very hard act to follow. I had to quickly design a fabric in time and make the 3 sets of large curtains! I knew I had to make it large scale and quite dramatic, I ended up sketching like mad and looking at an oriental theme but adding in palm trees. I created a half drop repeat which I think flowed really nicely but the design was missing something, I had an oriental man fishing but then had the idea of adding a tiger. I found a photo and draw the tiger and created layers for the colours and lines. I didn’t really think about the colours I was using because I hadn’t got to the colour stage and I was really just focussing on the composition. It all came together and I was so pleased with the overall look, I then looked at the colour of the Tiger thinking I was going to make it an orange/brown colour. This was not going to work and I thought I would leave it in the original colours I designed it in. This is why I called it Tiger Blue and I could not believe how popular this design has become. I was also thrilled to have my kitchen curtains of Tiger Blue fabric featured on the front cover of English Home magazine July 2019 issue.

How to buy
I am officially trade only (that is why I do not show any pricing) and deal with Stockists in the UK and internationally. I do understand that you might not be near a stockist or want to deal with me personally and in this case you can deal with me direct. When you contact a stockist they should be able to sell you just the fabric or wallpaper,  some stockists offer a making up service and it is up to you if you use their services or not.
How long before I get my fabric and wallpaper
All my fabric and wallpaper is printed to order, I do not hold any stock.
The fabric takes about 7 days to get back to me, I check it and then send it 24 hour insured courier to you or your curtain maker.
The wallpaper can take a little longer from 7 to 10 days, it depends how busy the printers are.
It is possible to fast track an order but you would need to email me

Design Help

I understand it is confusing trying to find fabrics and wallpapers to suite your projects. There is a great deal of choice out there and it can all get very overwhelming. I am NOT an interior designer but if you can send me photos of the project you are trying to decorate or indicated which fabrics you might like, I might be able to help you. When you email me I won’t know you or your taste, I can’t do Mystic Meg virtual interior design via email so as much information about what you are trying to achieve would be helpful.
