This soft pink and ochre fabric was named after the unspoilt Island of Paxos, found at the southern tip of Corfu.
These designs started as rather an experiment and were then put away into the depths of my filing system. I had done a mock up photo and added it to Instagram and this was found by quite a few people who started to ask for a sample. The photo I had added was a digital mock up so not the real thing! I decided to go ahead and have some samples printed, they arrived and I hung them up in my studio as I always do with samples just to get used to them and see what they look like from a distance. I wasn’t too sure and thought they might be too colourful so I hide them under my table. A week later I have three lots of people coming to see me for decorating advice and to look at my fabrics. Both of them found the samples and loved them! I showed my twin sister who is always very honest when it comes to my designs and she loved them too! I thought Oh well I might as well carry on with these designs and decided to make a mini summer collection out of them. Some of them were meant to go with the next collection I have coming out but I had too many patterns in this collection so that is one reason why they weren’t included. It always amazes me how I work out what to include and what not!
